Employee Spotlight: Chase Sams

The Fickling team is growing!

We are happy to announce that we have a new employee, Chase Sams. Chase has been working with us in the field for a number of months, and we can already see that he is a valuable member of our team.

Chase’s Past Experience

Chase’s previous experience as a finishing contractor led to tenant build-outs. The majority of his employment history, however, consists of operating three small businesses, including The Mini Bar, a doughnut shop in Jacksonville that also sells craft beer!

What’s Chase’s favorite part about working at Fickling Construction?

“By far is the respect factor. For people that have been in their position for years, even decades, I was welcomed warmly to the team. There are no egos and everyone is extremely helpful. With the team, I feel that I’m not set up for failure on the job site. There is always an answer when I have a question and advice is done in a very professional way. I feel like I learn something new every week on how to better my role and to be a part of the company.”

We asked Chase if he’d like to give special thanks to someone…

“I’d like thank Alan Fickling for trusting me in this role where I might not look the best on paper, Brent for trusting me on his job sites, Tom Allen for guiding me and helping me on my first site, and Camila Moncada for all of her help getting me onboard and all of the technical questions I ask.”

Chase loves working with people and helping them out when they need it most. He is competent, friendly and full of initiative. On behalf of everyone here at Fickling, thank you for all your hard work and dedication thus far! We’re confident that your experience will benefit us all as we continue to grow as an organization.
