Employee Spotlight: Jason Prescott

“At Fickling Construction I feel like family, like I am needed and have a purpose.”

This past year, Jason Prescott was appointed to the position of Construction Superintendent, and it has since been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with him. Jason is well seasoned in our industry, having 24 years of experience in the field with a background in Mechanical and Plumbing, (in addition to Medical Gases, Welding, Carpentry, and HVAC). He is also certified in Heavy Equipment and Aerial Lifts, as well as CPR and OSHA 30. In a brief interview with Jason, he told us about his experience thus far working with the company. Within his team, he feels valued for his viewpoint and appreciated for his knowledge and experience. Jason expressed feeling excited to come to work every day and to face each new challenge and experience. His first project with Fickling has already been a great success.

What is your favorite part about working here?

“My favorite part about working at Fickling Construction is the ability to do my job, you are allowed to do your job without someone looking over your shoulder the entire time, but you know your team/family is there with any help you need.”

Would you like to give special thanks to someone?

“I would like to give a special thanks to Alan Fickling for the opportunity to join this family and work for such a great company, and to my wife April Prescott for always pushing me to be the best I can be, and being the best partner.”

Jason’s 24 years of experience and kind spirit make him an invaluable asset to our organization. We look forward to another great year with our cherished new family member and Construction Superintendent, Mr. Jason Prescott. We appreciate everything you do for us!
